WARRANTY

Lumiooi provides a one-year replacement and a three-year warranty for Lumiooi products from the invoice date, covering defects and malfunctions in product structure or materials.

Lumiooi is not liable for damages caused by incorrect, improper, or irresponsible use of the product, including damages related to the storage, installation, or maintenance of the product. The warranty applies only if the following terms and procedures are observed:

      1. The product must be used strictly in accordance with the product    specifications and user manual.

      2. The product must be installed correctly according to any applicable installation instructions and, where legally required, must be installed by a duly authorized electrician.

      3. End users or third parties may only make any modifications to the product or attempt repairs with the prior written consent of Lumiooi. However, consent is not required if the repair is performed by a Lumiooi authorized service partner.

The warranty does not cover:

      1. Normal wear and tear.

      2. Natural differences in materials (e.g., color and texture) and oxide layers.

      3. Socket-type light sources.

The battery warranty period is two years from the invoice date.

Claims

To exercise warranty rights, the end user must submit a written claim within the warranty period, no later than two months after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered.

Remedies
In the event of a covered defect, Lumiooi will, at its sole discretion, remedy the defect by repairing or replacing the product. The product must always be returned to Lumiooi in appropriate packaging, and the end user assumes the risk of damage during transport.

If the defect can be repaired by replacing spare parts or other materials, and the replacement process will not cause material inconvenience to the end user (as assessed by Lumiooi), Lumiooi has the right to require the end user to replace the product themselves. In this case, Lumiooi will provide the end user with the necessary spare parts or materials free of charge.

If the defect cannot be repaired without incurring excessive costs, and a replacement product cannot be provided (e.g., the original product is discontinued at the time of the claim), Lumiooi may choose to refund the purchase price.

Lumiooi will bear the shipping/freight/delivery costs associated with repairs within the one-year replacement warranty period. However, Lumiooi shall not, under any circumstances, incur any costs associated with the removal or reinstallation of any old product, the installation of any new product, or any similar repairs.

Disclaimer

Lumiooi is not liable for any damage caused by natural disasters (including lightning strikes), power supply (including transients), excessive or insufficient voltage, or ripple current.

Such damages are not considered product defects and are therefore not covered under warranty. Lumiooi is not liable for any defects caused by incompatibility issues between the product and the installation environment (e.g., control systems or power supplies).

Lumioooi is not liable for lost profits, lost operations, or other indirect or consequential losses. Damages or indemnities shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the end user for the defective product.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This warranty and any dispute arising out of or relating to this warranty shall be governed by Danish law.
